Tap dancing their little hearts out. Move over shirley Temple! Donation Day. Every year we preformed to raise money for the orphanage. I loved this. This year we learned tap-dancing. We tapped our little hearts out to "Hello Dolly" and "Snoopy vs. Red Baron"I still remember my steps. It was a happy memory. Mike Wich-Micheal Wich was at Scared Heart from Aug 1963 through July 1967. "I had both of my parents and was able to go home on many weekends. My reason for being at the home was to learn English. When I arrived in 63 I did not speak one word of English. So you can only imagine what I went through the 1st year. But like many others, I survived and moved on in life without becoming a serial killer."

2008 reunion-The current photo from the re-union is Robert Rothermel on the left, Micheal Wich in the middle and John Jeffery on the right. They were my best friends from the home and we are still in touch today.
