I’ve done my character drawing, my technical drawing and a cut out drawing. The paper will be glued to the wood as a guide in cutting. Maybe today I’ll start doing the rough cutting on my baby band saw or scroll saw, both which scare me. But whenever I’m scared of something I just close my eyes and force myself to do it anyway until I’m not scared anymore! i’m going to try to do two puppets at a time. Vincent, the Varroa destructor and George the drone bee. Both are going to be one-handed tabletop puppets. All the art is done in Procreate on my ipad with an apple pencil.
