I always read at least 5 books at a time, skipping between them on a whim. The same goes for my art. I usually have several projects spinning at a time. That’s how I like it. One of those projects is The Snot Thrower picture book. A story about how a young girl learns the truth about eating boogies. The story is written, the characters developed and now I’m illustrating the pages. There will be the standard 32 pages. Is that the standard? Something close to that anyway. There is nothing more fun to me than illustrating. The world could be falling apart around me and I wouldn’t even notice as long as I was drawing.
